DROUGHT RESTRICTIONS ARE NOW IN EFFECT

The City of Corpus Christi has implemented the Stage 2 Drought Contingency Plan due to low lake levels. Therefore, Rincon Water Supply must implement our Stage 2 Drought Contingency Plan. 

This is considered to be a Mild Water Shortage condition, as such the goal is to reduce water usage by 10%. Therefore, the following shall be instituted immediately.
  • Sprinkler irrigation of lawns and flower beds may occur once every other week.
  • The following schedule will be followed for watering and irrigation
  • Zone 1 - Monday
  • Zone 2 - Tuesday
  • Zone 3 - Wednesday
  • Zone 4 - Thursday
  • Zone 5 - Friday
  • Zone 6 - Saturday
  • Zone 7 - Sunday
  • Your zone can be determined by your location number, located on the top right hand side of the bill, the first number is your zone number.
  • Lawn watering and landscape irrigation is prohibited between 10am and 6pm
  • Filling swimming pools, hot tubs or other pools is limited to once per week on your designated watering day
  • Car washing, motorbikes, boats, and/or trailers is limited to once per week on your designated watering day
  • RWSC member/customers found in violation may be subjected to penalties as defined in the Corporate Tariff. Repeated violations could result in service interruption.
